completely off-topic from “what to read”, (but definitely worth mentioning,) this is interesting.

a photo gallery of where various SFF authors do their writing. there aren’t many pictures up for now, but apparently there are going to be heaps more that will also be compiled into a book! a book of pictures! what a *novel* idea! bad pun and mild sarcasm aside, it *is* an interesting thing to do. I know I’ve read and seen in countless places, the question of “where do you write” and “is your workplace very messy” and “where is your mini-fridge full of beer?!?!”. And this little book means that the author being harassed can simply point at the picture and go “THERE! now leave me alone!”

Maybe.

Most tend to be too nice for that.
